Formed in New York in 1969, this talented quintet touched on rock, jazz and even classical music. They quickly came to the attention of Bill Graham, who added them to bills at his Fillmore auditoriums with the likes of Eric Clapton, Miles Davis, Fleetwood Mac, Procol Harum, Leon Russell and Traffic. Their album was produced by David Rubinson (Moby Grape, Taj Mahal, the Chambers Brothers) and appeared in October 1970, but they split in early 1971. It makes its long-awaited CD debut here, together with background notes.
