Nick Holder, owner of Toronto's acclaimed DNH and Treehouse Records, has been producing underground house music for more than ten years. Nick's work spans from disco loops to minimal Chicago style and many of his records have become timeless classics. "Erotic Illusions" is a timeless hit that has been in Steve Bug and Martin Landsky's boxes for a long time now. The A-side starts with some twisted synths and keeps things minimal but unerring. A kind of oldschool-newschool adventure. On B1 is the original version from 1991, sounding absolutely up-to-date. The mix on B2 features an old-school bass line and spoken word by Gentle Aura, paired with new-school synths and an exciting arrangement -- another extraordinary rework of this classic tune.
