"The Diät label presents its fourth release, a split 12" of the two listening and dancemusic electronics James Din A4 and Caulfield. The a-side from James Din A4 opens with the track 'Strange Hobby' in a harmonical and relaxed way. After a short time the playful sounds disappear but will be continued and enhanced by the 2nd track 'Korrekte Erziehung' already again. With most charming bongo, organ and baby-samples it rocks directly from the disco for electronical foolcalves. No. 3 'Wenn Nein, Warum Nicht?' increases this side again. An incredible techno-house-polka in a finest manner of James let also jump the last moving grumbler through the room. The B-side starts with an untypical caulfield track called 'Mute', a gentle cold cracklefunk monster with discreet melodical bits that leaves no leg standing straight. The last track 'Ned Blue' with its magical aircastle melodies and filigree sounds of house gives you enough time to straighten and to relax. A musical showdown where there is no looser."
