"On July 2005, at the Site of Pont du Gard, the staging of Blue Potential took place. This brilliant performance by Jeff Mills and 70 musicians of the National Orchestra of Montpellier, was a symphonic reading of the electronic repertoire of Mills, the superstar of techno from Detroit. Fifteen years of music are showcased throughout the melodic and rich tracks: the beautiful 'Imagine' and 'The March,' deep and classy techno: 'Gamma Player,' some pieces extracted from his original soundtracks: 'Entrance to Metropolis,' 'Keaton's Theme,' avant-gardist composition: 'Medium C' and the obsessing 'Man From Tomorrow,' without forgetting the dancing anthem: 'The Bells,' and the unforgettable 'Amazon' and 'Sonic Destroyer,' coming from the Underground Resistance's period. Thousands of people made it to the free concert, which was the first live performance of Jeff Mills since 1992, on an exceptional site, for the 20th anniversary of the Pont du Gard's inclusion in the world's heritage list by UNESCO. The unique opportunity to capture this show on film fathered a beautiful documentary." Last copies.
