Stellar electric instrumental folk rock. Skenet are four young musicians who grew up in rural Sweden and started playing the fiddle when they were kids. They stand for the renewal of the genre and take it in new and truly exciting directions with electric guitars and Mellotrons, among other instrumentation. Members Lena and Staffan, who both are also legitimate riksspelmän (National Folk Musicians of Sweden), have previously worked with bands like Dungen. Now they present their own musical vision.
