Just in time for the theatrical release is the soundtrack to the highly-anticipated documentary Bar25 -- Tage Ausserhalb Der Zeit (trans. "Bar 25 - Days Out Of Time"), which documents the history and subsequent closing of the legendary Bar25 club in Berlin. The house label Bar25 collected exclusive tracks from their inner circle of musicians to be incorporated into the film. The result was a remarkable collection of works from different genres of music -- a unique assemblage of musical contributions from long-time compatriots of this exceptional location. Contents of the sampler is divided into two worlds: the dancefloor and the circus. Even when Bar25 was open for business, these were the two core elements of the club, housed in its own individual atmosphere. The dancefloor was the central point of Bar25, where many DJs played the longest set of their lives. The circus was the counterpart to all who wanted to retreat into a fantasy world. Here, bands played, there was cabaret, theater and cinema. On ceremonial occasions, legendary confetti battles were staged. True to this division, on this compilation there are two CDs: CD1 for the "Bar" features 11 club tracks, whose range of exclusive, unreleased songs were the anthems of the last bar-seasons. CD2's "Circus" is a dazzling collection of 15 special songs that alternate through many different, colorful styles of music and reflect what Bar25 "Circus" was like. Like the film itself, this compilation captures the small legacy of Bar25 for all eternity -- that you will put on the shelf and revive from time to time to get those feelings back again. Artists include: Acid Pauli, Soil Ain't Solid (feat. Reecode), Oliver Koletzki, Marcus Meinhardt, Nu (feat. JoKe), Niconé & Sascha Braemer, Dirty Doering, Nico Stojan, Channel X, Britta Arnold, Daniel Dreier & Dale, Jake The Rapper, Wareika, Budzillus, Kiki Bohemia, Hey-O-Hansen, Pilocka Krach, Jahcoozi, dOP, Lee Jones, Margaret Dygas, Don Shtone, Rizzoknor, Beaner and Capey Cash.
