"Berlin Digital presents an assorted group of activists, who, in our opinion, are representative for the electronic music-scene and who live up to their ideas and energies on that big playground of electronic music, be it experimental Electronica, House, Techno or Drum&Bass. Yet, -- we haven't been that naive after all -- this DVD doesn't claim to be complete. Berlin Digital can only show a small cut and encourage you to get involved more deeply with the electronic music-scene. Thus, Berlin Digital deliberately sets links for your own investigation and points out networks, which hide behind the apparent incoherence. Beyond the many DJs, producers and labels, we are taking side-trips to two music-software firms, a vinyl mastering-studio, a music-magazine, a graphic-art-/VJ-collective as well as a small distributor because we believe, that they are an important and unalterable part of the electronic music-scene, too. Berlin Digital wants to show faces and spaces, that are usually not being seen at all or at least not in this manner. For this view behind the scenes, very little has been prescribed, there hasn't been a prefixed catalogue of questions. To a large extent the protagonists decided for themselves, about what, in which form and at what places they want to talk and what they want to show us."
