"Recloned gives you some of the hottest remixes on Clone records. This turned out to be a collection of very dancefloor friendly tracks. It shows the new interpretations of other talented producers on the original versions. These remixes have been made by friends, likeminded artists or by artists we respect a lot. Knowing this gives these remix projects more value for the original artists and makes it more fun for the label to release it. One of the biggest releases of 2005 was definitely the great Unit 4 'Bodydub' track... remixed by their hometown friends Tiefschwarz (both versions are now already considered classics). The soulful Delgui track 'Highlights' was remixed by one of our favorite house producers Charles Webster and turned out to be a superb rmx. Alden Tyrell's 'La Voix' did get the remix treatment by studio pal Elitetechnique and that one really surprised all of us. Probably the funniest story is the remix for Seymour Bits (together with De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig) -- 'Watsgeburt!?' The vocal version reached the number 1 position for at least 10 weeks in a row and was the biggest summer hit in Holland for 2005! Dexter made an awesome instrumental mix which rocked many underground clubs (who had no idea that they actually played a number 1 top 40 hit). There are little stories behind every song and every remix. Like one of the other classic Clone releases... Adult.'s 2001 'Hand To Phone' track that got the remix treatment by Carl Craig who was one of their good neighborhood friends (that remix was actually named 'Tres Demented Remix'). Another sublime remix is the hot Lindstrom & Prins Thomas 2004 rmx for Alden Tyrell's 'Disco Lunar Module'... which we think is one of the best remixes they ever did. Or what about the brand new unreleased remix by the unknown Divider for the new Jupiter Black project which is something unexpected from the highest quality... a nice tribute for the love they share with Jupiter Black (and many of hers) for Giorgio Moroder! And the previously unreleased pure italo disco from the Viewlexx artist S.Y.D. who made a superb remix for 'Little' (taken from the Clone Box Jams CD). Anyway... you get the picture... we like these remixes a lot for the final results but also for the personal stories behind it. And even without knowing the stories, this is a CD which will be a pleasure playing over and over again!" Artists: Pauli vs Tyrell, Putsch '79, Delgui, Alden Tyrell, Applegarden, Jupiter Black, Unit 4, Adult., Marcus Mixx, Seymour Bits.
