Mule Electronic proudly announces the label's first ambient compilation, in celebration of 5 years of releases. It all starts off with a beautiful track by regular Mule artist Koss (Kuniyuki Takahashi), followed by Strategy, who makes several types of music -- from dubby house to experimental pop. Benjamin Brunn is a remarkable newcomer who has released an excellent album with Move D on Lawrence's Smallville, and legendary producer Thomas Fehlmann also presents a gorgeous, psychedelic track. Swedish techno duo Minilogue roll out an 11-minute epic that is definitely one of the highpoints of this release, and Jan Jelinek makes a very rare appearance outside his home-label, ~scape. DJ Koze and Lawrence present their own versions of ambient in their own, very unique styles, and Terre Thaemlitz aka DJ Sprinkles tackles New York house with a more ambient approach -- a variation on a track off his full-length Midtown 120 Blues. Kompakt artist Hiroshi Watanabe aka Kaito presents a simple and very comfortable track, while Scottish producer Vince Watson blends ambience with drama. Lastly, is young Japanese producer Takuwan, who Koss has tapped as being particularly promising. Mule Electronic presents many styles of ambient to choose from on this compilation -- all of which will soothe, smooth, and enhance your silent moments.
