Mule Electronic marks their 5th anniversary with the second volume of their My Favorite Things label compilation -- a sublime collection of unreleased tracks by established and up-and-coming artists, and one previously vinyl-only tune. The compilation begins with deep house master Kuniyuki's ambient project, Koss and his beautiful, psychedelic track "Ocean Wave Across The Wave." Dial co-owner Lawrence presents "Jill," a taste of his upcoming full-length. Ribn is a new project by Manuel Tur, and this track reflects deeper sentiments than he usually releases under his own name. This compilation also features brand new music by Isolée, a dance-oriented slice of Portland-based producer Strategy's upcoming full-length, and an exclusive track by Move D. Âme came up with a wonderful remix for their favorite producer, Koss, and Kab comes highly recommended by Minilogue -- if you like their sound, you will love this psychedelic, killer tune. Speaking of, Minilogue is one of the hottest artists in the house/techno scene. Their track is full of goodness which recalls the sound of Villalobos, or similar. Foog is Mule Electronic's new artist whose debut album should arrive soon, and finally, there's the always-special Mule Electronic all-time favorite, DJ Koze. Amazing cover artwork courtesy of Stefan Marx.
