"The 50th release on Gigolo was a book complete with a special mix CD. This CD is now available for the first time. The CD contains a jubilee radio show which was recorded and transmitted by Brenden Gillen (Ectomorph) in Detroit. This man was responsible for the re-emergence of Electro. His label was behind the release of I-F's Space Invaders Are Smoking Grass -- a huge hit with influential DJs such as Sven Vath and Dave Clark, regarded as the tune that put Electro back on everyone's playlist. It is an unbelievable 75-minute mix from Carlos Suffront in which he plays only Gigolo tracks. The unsung mastermind behind Gigolo, namely Arnie, even gets a word in as do many callers from the public. Not making this CD finally available to the public would be as criminal as the KLF being made to burn all copies of their first album. Asta la vista, baby!"
