Voidiov EP
Label:
11:00 A.M. (SPAIN)
Format:
12"
Price:
$11.00
Catalog #:
11AM 001EP
"Esperanza is happy to announce 11:00 A.M., a new musical project dedicated to expanded and rarefied atmospheres. As the first appointment we present to your kind attention an artist who doesn't need any introduction: Seph. The Argentine guy gives us two intense tracks, with the guarantee to devastate the dancefloor if used with stubbornness. 'Voidiov' on A1. could sound familiar because it is a 'Void' re-edit, released some time ago on Foundsound, now improved in every single detail. On B1. the same 'Voidiov' is remixed by Bruno Pronsato, who gives a new-funk shading to the track through his unmistakable style, resulting in a softer and rhythmic interpretation. On B2 'Tiks' is a very dark track, with a hypnotic structure, which sounds irresistible in the final part of a set, or still better in an after party. A must-have."

Title:
Matamoscas
Label:
11:00 A.M. (SPAIN)
Format:
12"
Price:
$11.00
Catalog #:
11AM 002EP
"Argentina strikes again, this time we have Dilo & Franco Cinelli, both known for their releases on labels such as Esperanza, Adjunct, Einmaleins, Milnor Modern, Telegraph, and many more. The tracks getting vinyl format on this EP are 10 min. trippy epic affairs, definitely afterhours bombs. 'Matamoscas' is on side A, providing a super tool which has being played lately by DJs such as Butane, Ben Parris & Bill Patrick. On the side B we find 'Fragil,' where random electro basslines, bleeps and noises are constantly moving like flies that are tripping out. Completing the release, the interpretation of Kasper & Papol remix is pressed, where the Spanish duo have been working a lot lately, with their appearances on Minus, Igloo, and their own labels, Esperanza and 11am. The tune is a hypnotic, quirky techno tool -- a perfect end for the EP."

Helado En Globos
Label:
11:00 A.M. (SPAIN)
Format:
12"
Price:
$12.00
Catalog #:
11AM 003EP
"Alejandro Mosso from Argentina introduces us the third release for 11:00 AM. 'Helado en Globos' is the main track for this release, this number has a bassline which is so funky and driving that's going to even make your grandma dance (expect bootlegs of this track with Donna Summer ones). For the remix, we had no other than the Pan-Pot guys who kept the original flavour of the original one adding their special touches to the original recipe turning this track into a deep funky stormer. Finally, we took one of Funzion's best works from the Igloo back catalogue, his remix of Qik's 'Fall'. The only reason we did this because it's not just a filler, it's killer. Enjoy your 'Helado en Globos'!"

Victimas EP
Label:
11:00 A.M. (SPAIN)
Format:
12"
Price:
$12.00
Catalog #:
11AM 004EP
"11am comes back with another freaky afterhours burner, this time from another Argentinian, Sr. Replicante. Previously released in Alphahouse, he has been DJing for more than 10 years and has gathered the respect and influenced the whole Argentinian scene. 'Victimas' is a weird bleepy track with freaked out vocals -- awesome for the start of any afterhours set in the whole world. 'Ticket' is a Chicago-influenced track with a great fucked up groove. 'Obsequio' is like a doctoral thesis in rhythm, masterfully arranged with a quirky percussion. We love this! On the plays of Magda, Jay Haze, Jorge Savoretti, Franco Cinelli."

That Hooded EP
Label:
11:00 A.M. (SPAIN)
Format:
12"
Price:
$12.00
Catalog #:
11AM 005EP
"11am welcomes again one of our favorite afterhour artists: Seph from Buenos Aires (Argentina). He offers again one piece of dark and complex musical art. 'That Hooded' is the main and most special track on the release. It's some kind of break minimal with a fucked up bass and a weird and melancholic melody. It's perfect for breaking out a set. 'Aranias' opens side B, its the deepest track on the release and offers the typical glitchy Seph-style. 'Ivil' ends this fantastic record with a funky bass full of clickclakclickclak and all that. It has been already played by Troy Pierce, Magda, etc."
