"With the dust just beginning to settle on the very well received first EP from Cultivated Electronics, it is time for the second installment in this four-part series of compilation 12"s. This release hosts fresh new material from the label's head, Sync 24, the debut release for Matt Whitehead, an appearance from Pyramid Transmissions, well-respected label owner ADJ and the Brighton-based acid maestro, Junq."

CE 004EP
"After a storming year for this new London-based electro label, Cultivated Electronics is proud to present its 4th and final compilation release. EP004 has a guest appearance from the electro legend Carl A Finlow under his Silicon Scally Moniker, a track from the label's head Sync 24 as well as fresh material from Signal Type and Matt Whitehead. A1 is Silicon Scally's 'Process.' A super deep and techy electro piece whose design is as much for the dancefloor as it is the mind. Carl Finlow's electro output has been somewhat slow in the last year so it is a real pleasure to have him onboard! A2 is a fresh track from label head, Sync 24. Rolling, funky, robotic electro is the order of the day. A solid addition to the CE catalogue. This is the second of several releases for Sync 24 this year. The flip side of the 12" opens with a new track from Signal Type, a duo made up of Sync 24 and Matt Whitehead. 'B-14' gives a nod to the is an old school with bubbly analogue basslines, Kraftwerk style pads and rolling 808 beats. So far this year has been a good one for Signal Type, with them just having a track licensed to the seminal '80s electro label Street Sounds. The final track of the release sees Cyantific's Matt Whitehead appearing with his first solo track since EP002. 'Conveyor' has an old school edge with a future twist and as always Matt's sequencing & production are on top form!"
