"Second remix package of this classic Newcleus track. This time we bring in the Scandinavians. First out is Finland's biggest export Jori Hulkkonen with his low-funky electric affair. He keeps it true to the original but twists around with great success where it develops from a minimal affair in the beginning and with a spaced-out acid ending. The man of the moment Agaric (We Are Records) is our man for the other side. And what a remix he did. He's well known for his minimal techno sound but here he softens up a bit and delivers a proud moment of melodic deep minimal house sounds. Agaric himself claims it's pop music!!! Not sure we agree, but it's sure damn good."

"What do you say about having DJ T & Claude VonStroke on the same single and if that wasn't enough, there are two mixes from label boss Martin Brodin. And they're all remixing the million-selling song 'Jam On It' by Newcleus. This was the hottest track you could spin back in 1984. Crazy electronic spaced-out electro hip-hop is the best way to describe the original. DJ T keeps it true to the original and captures the feeling from that time with an updated typical DJ T style. Claude VonStroke's version was originally out as a bootleg but now gets the official release it deserves. On the flipside Martin Brodin totally revamps the original to a minimal affair with lots of effects and bleepy noises. On the second remix, he rounds up with a classic funky deep house remix."

"Following the great remix package of Semitone Shuffle, Martin Brodin now invites two of his friends for this remix package. Sasse, the main man of Berlin's Moodmusic and known for his ubercool deep-techy house for more than a decade. And surely known for his latest mixes on F-Comm and SAW. He takes on 'From Malmoe To Bremen' with open eyes and delivers the best sides of him. Deep house with a warm feeling with lush keys combined with spacey effects and a cool techy drive which makes it the perfect track for the late hours. Flipside action is done by rising star, Williams. The Scotsman with his great releases on labels such as Get Physical, Love Triangle, Tsuba and Glasgow Underground, nothing can go wrong with this guy. And surely it didn't this time either. His nine minute epic remix of 'Starchaser' will be one of Deeplay Soultec's finest moments when we soon go into the 20th release. He invites us to a great journey of wobbling dubby basslines and sublime minimal effects, but not loosing the original melody which is the theme in his remix. All in all a dubby, techy feeling with a sense of the minimal sound attached to it."
