Pixelord (aka Alexey Devyanin) debuts on the Leisure System label's inaugural 12" with four tracks that show off his multifarious skills as a producer. While "Iron And Cream" takes off into a Deadboy-esque world of vocal fragments and a floating garage-house beat, "Cycloferon" is a nod both to uplifting hip-hop and playful 8-bit sounds. The Leisure System collective from Berlin presents the second release from their newly-founded label. Responsible for the bass assault this time is San Francisco-based producer Eprom. After releases on labels like Warp and Rwina, and with one of the biggest tunes of 2010 ("Shoplifter"), Eprom graces Leisure System with nothing less than full peak-time anthems. "Feldspar" is like a 140 bpm wrecking ball, purpose-built for rewinds and dancefloor freak-outs. "Psycho" brings the speed down, but keeps up with the raw energy.

Leisure System, the collective, label and famed Berghain club night, is back with their third release from co-founder and resident, Sam Barker. For this solo EP, mastered by Pole, Barker presents a creative lesson in diversity. "Like An Animal" builds and builds, quickly changing course and mutating into a percussive, texturized melting pot of sounds. "I Feel" is filled with moody pads and syncopated breakbeat rhythms, paving the way for the smooth half-step rhythm of "Hot Lover." Housed in a deluxe die-cut jacket.
