Lomidhigh and Seuil began flirting in March last year when he started working on his release Blood On The Congas EP, which was released on the parent label - Lomidhigh Lmtd. 'Variations 07' immediately appears reminiscent of a reduced Moodyman on a long, long journey with plenty of spaced out effects, voice trickery and odd choirs. Watch out for the smash of a crash cymbal placed at the very best parts of the track! On the flip 'Glue Eyes' comes with a dusty and grinding bass lead synth which crunches the speakers and your guts for good measure. "On this second EP on Lomidhigh Organic, we are very pleased to release yet another artist from our mother label Lomidhigh Lmtd. Argentinian Alejandro Mosso may not ring a bell, as he's better known under the monikers Funzion and E.Bridge. Alejandro had two releases last year on Lomidhigh Lmtd, Eneros and the 2x12" Tantra co-produced with Gurtz. 'CPH' bases its pace on a sexy shuffle, frantic claves and complex layers of alternating melody structures. In the last third of the track, an exquisite dash of bleepy chords adds to the outstanding experience."

"One of the best things Copenhagen has to offer -- Martinez, has really spiced Lomidhigh Organic up with his Organic Theme EP. This year he's gone back to his deep house days as the ones we remember him from Chicago record label Guidance Recordings. Though he has further added this techno-ish touch and come up with the perfect balance of techno and house music! After hitting the market with two stoning 12"s on 3rd Floor and Moon Harbour, Martinez delivers yet another winner with his new 2x12" for Lomidhigh Organic. The record kicks off in fine fashion with the title track, 'Organic Theme,' and as the title suggests, this is the theme song for what the Organic label sound is all about and was specially custom-made for the label. Over 14 minutes of play time, this tune unveils itself slowly from a deep Rhodes-driven house groove with jazzy snare drums and a strong, steady kick drum into a lovely, liberating deep house anthem. More and more percussion enters over the floating deepness and after 6 minutes, a hypnotic vocal starts rising from out of nowhere, and brings the track to its peak. A perfect tune to start off an EP like this! On the B-side, we find a more minimal and stripped-down house groover, called: 'Chi-Town 60661.' The title is tracing back to the zip code of the area for one of Chicago's finest and most inspiring record labels, so you can surely imagine where the inspiration for this track comes from. The whole track is built over a deep and dark sub-bass driven groove, with high-pitched congas and a deep male vocal humming in the background. It keeps on going for over 10 minutes with sizzling hi-hats and cymbals entering in and out over the hypnotic bass and rhythm. The second 12" starts off with a more uptempo track, which has a nice feeling of more classic Chicago techno, reminding me of labels like Relief and Cajual. The track is called 'The Alley Cat,' and the whole track is built up by a pretty simple straight-up beat, but with the live recording from Martinez's own kitchen running free below the groove, it makes the perfect contrast to the simpleness of the track. The EP is rounded up nicely by the song, 'Rattlesnake' on the D-side. A very toolish track with a dark, deep voice and scattered-space-noise fading in and out under the deep surly percussion-filled rhythm, making these perfect breaks in the track -- it works, we love it!"

"Right in the trails of the past month's releases, Andreas Jornvil's splendid OMG EP and the deep warm ethnic La Boca EP by Gonzales comes this proper stomping business from Ernesto Ferreyra. The first cut has this irresistible good times feel and disco-like flavour thrown in for good measure with those rumbling congas. 'Bakana' is the name of the game here. Taking you back to the mid '90s cut up techniques of Cajual Records and exactly the track that someone like Derrick Carter would kill the floor with. Flip over the record and you get the bonus bouncer of 'Ground' which is a slow builder that has something like an Italo Disco synth in the distant deep space and all of a sudden explodes in cascades of soundwaves."
