"Süpermatik sounds like being born in such a special moment. His track take a deep breath and preserves the magic of these seconds for a runtime of six minutes with chords echoing old Basic Channel records. Flip around and find Super Flu's 'Monaberry' being a bit more tangible: the melancholy of hovering synth lines takes the track further and further while providing moments of recreation as well. A reliable late night companion, 'Whisper To My Ear,' she said -- being well aware of what would follow the next two seconds until his words would reach her ear: Silence, a soundless moment of waiting and this indefinable energy that rises only for the blink of an eye and fades away as quickly again. And well, sometimes it even decides to stay longer: 'Whisper To My Ear' by Istanbul-based Doruk Öztürkcan aka delivered by Feliks Thielemann (Tinitus Pärt) and Mathias Schwarz aka Super Flu from Halle/Germany. 'Monaberrry' is carried by a certain easiness that becomes extremely infective, flowing along for eight minutes -- adverse reaction excluded."

LORNA 004EP
"Step by step, Lorna develops into a pearl-diver for up-to-date house that's one thing above all: tight to the point. While the first two EPs were dug out from some anonymous hard discs, Lorna now is a platform for promising faces with guts. Tom Mangan is the guy behind release number four: spreading his talent on a wide field, his name has been around since 2002 with EPs on labels such as Bedrock or Tiefschwarz's Souvenir. Together with Cass Cutbusch, he has been responsible for a variety of club hits as Cass & Mangan and Deadset on Wall Of Sound, Fine and Sabotage Systems. 'Good Words' gets you with its deepness and musicality -- tight house music right for the floor. 'Bit Lip' on side B spreads over twelve minutes -- closely selected harmonies and sounds conjure up a hypnotic house track that serves as a deadly secret weapon in early morning hours."
