Title: Wuzzelbud KK
Label: MUSIK KRAUSE (GERMANY)
Format: CD
Price: $15.50
Catalog #: MKR 001CD
2011 repress! Wuzzelbud KK is the first Musik Krause release for German electronic artist Gabor Schablizki, aka Robag Wruhme (Beefcake, Wighnomy Brothers) from 2004. The Wruhme universe manages with a wink to equip a whole sound universe, somewhere in the realm of Perlon and Herbert Manier. A completely unique, forceful techno-minimal house with substantial volume, twists, tension, longing and bass felt throughout the body, along with distinctive samples bringing both listeners and dancers under his spell. For the first track, Mr. Robag uses a melody which has been ghosting about on some data medium since 1996. Constructed perhaps for the electronic project Beefcake, the melody has subsequently been refined from the old and adapted for the new. Especially glossy, without sacrificing the identify of the album, is the track "K.T.B." ("Kick This Braunhaufen"). And why pay so much money for Erykah Badu when in Germany you have vocalist Dehlia, whose voice blossoms next to jazz-besprinkled beats. Wuzzelbud KK is an extensive table full of gifts, embellished with fine electronic ingredients, full of kicking beats, homogeneity, wit and charm. Beats for your neck and limbs, sounds for the heart, sounds for the head. It is simply demanding electronic music which is taken home from the club -- straightforward digital Frickelfunk -- body-rock for peace and laughter.

Title: The Lost Archive 1998-2007
Label: MUSIK KRAUSE (GERMANY)
Format: CD
Price: $10.00
Catalog #: MKR 002CD
This is the second solo release on the Musik Krause label for German electronic artist, Robag Wruhme (Gabor Schablizki, Beefcake, Wighnomy Brothers). For Robag, spring cleaning revealed some critical gems on his desk and in his computer and skull. If that which essentially was on its way to rot, now sounds as if in fact there is purpose, he figured it was about time to release the fruits of labors past and future in the form of a CD EP. This release has also been enriched with a pair of fitting tracks which appeared on some previously-released vinyl records. The Lost Archive is a small collection of 9 greats, manifested from Robag's own script and recollections without the genre being evangelized.

Title: The Burgenland Dubs
Label: MUSIK KRAUSE (GERMANY)
Format: CD
Price: $15.50
Catalog #: MKR 003CD
Relocated from Wales to Jena, Germany, Ian Simmonds (aka Juryman) is responsible for pure innovation on the electronic scene. He left London in 2005 and began a new chapter in the East German province of scenic Jena in Thuringia, recording The Burgenland Dubs in the old Castle Wendelstein in the middle of the vineyard region in Unstrut Valley in Burgenland Saxony-Anhalt. Working in an environment with faulty heating, rotting old windows, and two hard winters that set ice crystals in his beard, Simmonds toiled in his castle like a sorcerer in his spiritual craft, revealing an album filled with maritime dimensions, rhythmic, lyrical moments, dramatic beat wizardry, and orchestral presence. This album also demonstrates a swinging, acoustic flight of traditional instrumentation paired with modern electric sonic culture. He also doesn't shy away from soul and jazz, and possesses a smooth British breakstep sense and even the depths and straight lines from Detroit. His sound began on the bass with the extraordinary combo, Sandals (1992-1994), whose proliferation anticipated British-isle club innovation. As Juryman, Simmonds began to merge modern music with traditional. From there came unbeatable productions in the form of 12" remixes, albums on renowned labels like SSR, Ntone, Studio-K7!, Pussyfoot, G-Stone, Compost, and more. The Burgenland Dubs is pure beat-fiddling sound research plus orchestral radiance and moving, warm peak-time brush-strokes for the home or club.

Artist: FEINDREHSTAR
Title: Vulgarian Knights
Label: MUSIK KRAUSE (GERMANY)
Format: CD
Price: $15.50
Catalog #: MKR 004CD
Musik Krause presents the debut album by Feindrehstar. The Jena natives have made a life on the stage as a collective over the last 10 years. Their music so far, spread out over a couple of 7"s and CDs, makes an exhilarating connection between the functional and the ornamental. Their hard-working dance music translates perfectly live on stage with a house essence, a dose of hip-hop, and a funk and jazz base. The sextet is composed of trumpet, saxophone, scratches and samples, bass, percussion, drums, Rhodes and keys, all assembled into an interesting sonic garden. As a unit of virtuoso composers with serious sonic tools, Feindrehstar presents The Vulgarian Knights. The recording took place together with Axel Reinemer and Immo Wischhusen (Flowin' Immo) in Jazzanova Studio in Berlin. The energetic, urban rhythm architecture is credited to brilliant co-production work by Michael Baumann (Soulphiction/Jackmate). From a pure, jammed-out playfulness there grows a sparkling conversation between the winds and the keys; some listeners will also sense a rugged funk, and others finely-honed jazz within an improvised setting. It is the pact between stage excesses and club integrity that Feindrehstar does so well.

Title: Wuzzelbud KK
Label: MUSIK KRAUSE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $10.00
Catalog #: MKR 011EP
"He only touches his electronic toys, when his appetite craves artful noisemaking. With the teaser tracks 'Quetsche' and 'Konkklusiv', which are not included with the Robag Wruhme album, what you don't find on the album comes out here. 'Wuzzelbud "KK"' starts off in classic Chicago jack-style and is driven by a break and female voice sample through an intense, shuffling beat. Which, through superimposed, discordantly shining, psycho bass sounds, are refined through renewed breaks and echo sounds. The track is brought to an end through a booming bass line. 'Quetsche' is a trip to the center of the earth with a dancing sir capitan Wruhme at the helm. Or, perhaps cosmic 'Winnetou-house', which shows us where we all come from and eventually all must go until Manitou takes us to his kingdom. 'Konkklusiv' is the bending of minimal house taken from the harmonically experimental pages of Warp and Morr Music. A discreet bass line, and playful hi-hat are carry you gently on the surface, showing you how large the ocean is."

Artist: KRAUSE DUO NR. 2
Title: Rambazamba
Label: MUSIK KRAUSE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $10.00
Catalog #: MKR 012EP
"Play me that tune from wood! Metaboman and Carlsen Basu probably said to themselves, when they registered with the authorities as the swinging-weirdo pair, Krause Duo Nr. 2 in smallville Jena. Because their raw, smoky, as it were springy technical sound seems to have developed on completely wooden equipment: it resonates spatially, grinding, grating and roaring in the rhythmic forest. The results of all physicists and chemists were subject until now to a fatal flaw, namely that raw material can run the show. These two electro-forest workers supply the proof. Or could it be that the desired equilibrium is manifested by nature, technical achievements and shared understanding, in the form of dance music? If so, it is made for clubs where the porous discharging of body fluids is still more important is than the pierced, solarium-burned, and half-naked in the delirium of the presentation. That being, filthy-frickelravejazz with minimal bongo-techno rushes, of which Motown provided with a wink, the deepness, revealing in the correct moment the sheltered sound box exposed. The sweat-bathed never leave the cellar even though the door stands open and everything is already sore. A little blood runs from the lip and yet a happy grin is managed nevertheless."

Artist: HAZE, JAY
Title: Berlin Pimpin EP
Label: MUSIK KRAUSE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $10.00
Catalog #: MKR 013EP
"From the land of 'bubblegum popping meets cannabis metropole', the Prussian 'icke' sails forth from the foundation to announce the German electronic scene at your service. On labels such as Textone (net-only,) Tuning Spork, and Context-terrior, Future Dub offers his own style of sound-supplies from other dealers. For Musikkrause that was the spark, which led to an offer he couldn't refuse. No chance when the music already tumbling around in the attaché, whose value is in moving electronically trained minds and legs, is to be scratched on. Particularly when it sounds as if he is coming from a medical apparatus that appears, as though the cheerful 'halli-galli' starts to wane. Hence the twirling on all available equipment, until a rhythmic manifestation emerges, understandably always in the bag of the night-watchmen boring acid of course the nurse isn't coming just to make the bed. The visits in the plans call for severity, giving the patient a chance to really show how well he can move. The flow being not quite fluid, electro-shock is administered. Nonetheless all goes well. However the nurse must proceed with caution to avoid overdose, otherwise there would be no one left to save! Brazil the head doctor is an alien who performs precisely without mistakes, understanding the elements being his medicine. The operation has been endured, everything hurts, and tears must be shed! Well, dancing will heal everything! At last, nature and the body have found harmony again. Bull frog finally it has been done. Medical personnel, pharmacies and therapists are all left without jobs as patients of the hospital are now healed sonically! Frog the longing for freedom allows wounds to heal. Music prevents wounds, the goal of which is to satisfy the demands of the mind that makes freedom possible, through music."

Title: Wortkabular Rmx
Label: MUSIK KRAUSE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $10.00
Catalog #: MKR 014EP
"The truest place in the world is the dance floor, it never lies. And it definitely doesn't with these two 9-minute dance floor ditties. At the most it may betray the body its inertia. The remix, brought to you via Switzerland by way of the Chilean New Prussian Luciano, slides into the ears of dance-happy folk right now. Luciano plays his own favourites of mixed sets from Silberling. Now it finally appears in black grooved vinyl. The other side belongs to the remix from Tobi Neumann, who with the help of his daughter and Richard Wolfsdorf (okay now, apply yourself a little bit, you know who this is!) put some spring into the super balls underneath each jitterbug. The littlest one brings the alphabet into the clubs, where the smokers are tested as to whether they can catch the stammering expressions."

"Someone once answered the question of whether there is a connection between record collections and love this way: 'you know I own 20,000 vinyl, that means I own 20,000 women that can't cheat on me'. With the newest Musikkrause release from Ian Simmonds, one has reason to feel not betrayed, but rather rewarded: collectors, connoisseurs, admirers, ladies, listeners and dancers unite to savor the most exquisite chocolate of the world -- music from the finest cocoas, not sugary, but lightly sweetened. The London-based Ian Simmonds has since the early '90s been all over the world in the tradition of producer and record-spinner mixing modern and futuristic visions to taste. To the melodic table reserved for regulars, as Juryman he brought well-known island music styles such as dub, techno, house, broken-beat, nujazz, film music, jazz, radio, soul, Afro beat, and drum & bass both to cheers and hand-wringing. These efforts courted labels such as Studio K7!, SSR, Compost, among others which promoted Ian Simmonds' albums, EPs and remixes for the masses. Ian Simmonds always knew exactly how club jazz is supposed to sound as well as how the bass, although taking a detour through the brain, can reach the feet. That, ladies and gentlemen, is on display here! And it gets deeper with a hug from Michael Corleone and Don Vito from the best epic of all time. It goes without saying that longtime fan and Musikkrause cohort Metaboman is ready to spin the remix until his fingers are raw. Title 1: Mourning yields hope, tears must capitulate to laughter, stagnancy is replaced by action, inertia replaced by movement and suddenly in detroit the sun rises. An entire land swings right to left and finally chooses the right president! Title 2: Art Blakely , Sun Ra and Thelonious Monk ride together with Kara Ben Nemsi and the kalif of laptop through the croat curtain of a Karl May flick from the '60s. A smoky fireside and the distinctly meditative landscapes' intoxicating spirit channel every fable and fairy into the cultural jazz-body! Title 3: the Serengeti-steppe in the club, everybody dances on the red earth wobbling on bellies full of corn mash and coconut beer. Fela Kuti and Tony Allen are nevertheless software developers of a dynamic connection between black and white title 4/Metaboman remix: razzle-dazzle, klimper-wimper, klepper-pepper, stimmel-wimmel, samba-pamba, hopple-popple, quietsch-popitsch electricity is produced by means of rhythm, healing through the burning of blood! Dance or die to the voodoo of bass and drum!"

Artist: KRAUSE DUO
Title: Remmi Demmi
Label: MUSIK KRAUSE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $10.00
Catalog #: MKR 016EP
Both the hedgehog and eye-winkers are back to transport you to their unique and special world of wood, humor and folklore. However, there will be no sacrifices, only gifts to every soul with a beating heart driven by the power of the rhythmic gyroscope which rocks the body! This here is a storm of tonal and beat- saturated form bringing high and low from the woodwork! Effect, slantedness and musicality melts into lava never again to chill. Trance for all the bodily elements -- a jazz infusion with a melodious hook infused with groove. Next, Metaboman and Carlson Basu do some sunny remixing. And with the last track, the melting of hip-hop and house affinities bodes victoriously.

Artist: EVEN TUELL + METABOMAN
Title: Aqua Jet EP
Label: MUSIK KRAUSE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $10.00
Catalog #: MKR 017EP
Even Tuell aka Paul David Rollmann crafts traditional, all-encompassing pieces in the realm of sound research. His is an unusual sound -- dark and distinct, finding the light at the end of the tunnel. Also sharing the bill is Metaboman, one half of the Krause Duo and member of Winnertou. Fashioning creations with diverse musicians on such implements as Rhodes, drums, winds and horns, percussion etc., more life is breathed into this music, as if it were on a live stage. All tracks are pure earthen deepness, drawing out a maximum degree of forward movement. Even ardent hard-line atheists will give themselves as sacrifices to these beats.

Artist: SIMMONDS, IAN
Title: Standing Man EP
Label: MUSIK KRAUSE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $10.00
Catalog #: MKR 018EP
This is Mr. Simmonds' second release on Musik Krause. The artist also known as Juryman savors all types of different classic music styles. Rather than chewing them up and spitting them out, he carefully prepares and processes each element to become fine ingredients of his own recipes. These tracks display a composure which few sound arrangers are able to present. This goes beyond pure club music, because Simmons possesses the finest club tools imaginable. Magic moments for those in attendance are a given.

Artist: WRUHME, ROBAG
Title: Papp-Tonikk EP
Label: MUSIK KRAUSE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $10.00
Catalog #: MKR 019EP
The 19th release from Musik Krause is the Wruhme-esque attack against slushy snow, drizzle, winter depression and glazed frost. "Papp-tonikk"'s loudness detonates with a salacious feeling. The very essence of techno. "Pontifekks" is IDM frivolity with mini-electronica-break massacre noises that sweep through bacchanal dream sequences. "Ikke's Schlonze" finds a little jazz strewn along the shoulder on the main techno thoroughfare. "Hamburg 03.07.06" is ambient and caressing. All that remains is the open road and an old V-dub from Oldenburg to Holzminden.

Artist: SCHLECK & STECKER
Title: Moschusmieze
Label: MUSIK KRAUSE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $10.00
Catalog #: MKR 020EP
Schleck and Stecker sound like analog shepherds with dirty fingernails, providing the needed feed of used motor oil and gummy bears to fuel their gadgetry. Here you will find gruff farmers hard at work, who nonetheless were retrained as bakers. Where in former times there was straw and crap, today there is flour and chocolate, and as garnish a little glitch-dub, kobold vocals, kraut-rock house and UFO melodies. "Frau Aus Matsche" is mind-blowing house with over-modulated frequencies for the nightly sweat outbreak. This is definitely not your customary Prada-minimal and Gucci-techno that has a strangle-hold on the cool capitals of today! Feathery, happy-industrial-jazz-dub-techno for which lactic-acid emanates from every fiber of the muscles.

Artist: WRUHME, ROBAG
Title: The Lost Archive 1998-2007
Label: MUSIK KRAUSE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $10.00
Catalog #: MKR 021EP
Robag Wruhme recently decided to reorganize his top shelf and found a few gems up there. With these finds, his residence is an independent state somewhere between the dream and awake; and here, as in the rest of the world, he is a master of the digital sense. Here are six odes officially freshened up and grooved in vinyl, crafted for true romantics and real live-groove favorers who want to be found in the bright lights of the night.

Artist: DAS KRAUSE DUO
Title: Ruggi Zuggi
Label: MUSIK KRAUSE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $10.00
Catalog #: MKR 022EP
Metaboman and his partner Carlson Basu work on a rather social plan of acoustic-electronic sound strokes without an affinity for any specific genre. Together they have created their own cosmos: electric-swing. Slamming, percolating rhythm structure sets the tone so that all know where the dance is going. "Canopolis" is a slimmed-down, cool-sax maximal, "Good Man Invasion" is an authentic and irresistible sunrise joint, "Dance With Me" is a crazy rap shuffle with guest Flowin Immo, and "Egoshooter" is pure Kraus-rave on the mountainside. Early morning nature-techno.

Artist: SIMMONDS, IAN
Title: The Woodhouse EP
Label: MUSIK KRAUSE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $10.00
Catalog #: MKR 023EP
Ian Simmonds presents a theater for the ears with three new pieces for the Musik Krause label. "Roots" is a charming, poetic staccato swing dunked into the depths of the world. "Nikki" will make your hips move with its open-hearted, trumpeting frankness. Finally, "Woodhouse Suite" finishes the EP with an Irish beat and jazz follicles that will make you sweaty.

Artist: SOULPHICTION
Title: The Chocolettes One
Label: MUSIK KRAUSE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.50
Catalog #: MKR 024EP
Three killa rhythm-isms from Soulphiction, full of nutritional value and whole grain groove. This is music for emotional dancefloors. "Maoamba" is a wonderful Afro-jazz dervish, pure magical madness for the moments when everything simmers and spins. "Rise" is a deep, jazz-filled slider that creeps under the skin. "Jungle AD" features careening and rolling bass swells. A clear declaration that states: "music without bass is stupid!"

Artist: KRAUSE DUO
Title: Automatischler Ping EP
Label: MUSIK KRAUSE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.00
Catalog #: MKR 025EP
The Krause Duo (Metaboman & Carlson Basu) present the Automatischler Ping EP. "So Hell" is jazzy-darkroom-hip-house, a true hymn for the night. "The Monkey" is a clap-step number with a luxurious sensibility and nasty harmonies. "The Controller" is defiant, out-of-it, semi-somnolent minimalism. "If She Is A He" is the perfect conclusion: breakable, but with a light, sweet character. Don't ask what the Krause Duo can do for you. Ask what you can do for the Krause Duo.

Artist: SOULPHICTION
Title: The Chocolettes Two
Label: MUSIK KRAUSE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.00
Catalog #: MKR 026EP
This is part two of Soulphiction's Chocolettes series. Whether as Soulphiction, Jackmate or as Manmade Science, Michel Baumann guarantees soul satisfaction. "The Royal Pennekaums (Chocolettes Nervous Mix)" is swinging electronic funk in the vein of International Pony. "Nobody Ever" is a majestic, slow-motion kicker -- true downbeat-house for reflective moments. "In Dub" closes the ranks between dub and techno, with wonderful, buzzing background grooves. Lastly, "Sirens" is short, sweet, Maritime gangster-house -- a lucrative trip into the witch's cauldron.

Artist: SIMMONDS, IAN
Title: The Wendelstein Variations - Soulphicton Remix EP
Label: MUSIK KRAUSE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.00
Catalog #: MKR 027EP
Ian Simmonds presents bewitching "head music" which searches the depths of the dancefloor. On "The Wendelstein Variations," an epic, feathery jazz structure allows plastic palm fronds to bloom. Lonesome, fragmented melodies meet house ingredients suspended between utopia and reality. "Whos Blues" is film music without the film. Overstuffed house and downbeat infused with thoughtful elements from Afrobeat, jazz, blues, etc. The Soulphiction remix could measure the heavenly bodies, if sonics were telescopes and if machines were made from living cells.

Artist: PORTABLE
Title: The Emerald Life
Label: MUSIK KRAUSE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.00
Catalog #: MKR 028EP
Alan Abraham (aka Portable, Bodycode) belongs to the special world of electrical thump and sizzle. For his first release on Musik Krause, he presents two personable pieces. The first features big-mouthed beats held at gunpoint against a restrained, early '90s zeitgeist and today's production know-how. "The Shallow Final" is a nocturnal killer dusted with a flurry of deep, post-wave house. Ecstatic dancefloor control.

Artist: DAS KRAUSE DUO
Title: Beans In Sandals Part 1
Label: MUSIK KRAUSE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.00
Catalog #: MKR 029EP
Das Krause Duo (Metaboman and Carlson Basu) present part 1 of their Beans In Sandals session. Here we have two dirty, intel-techno stompers with Detroit ingredients and moody, Rhodesian jingle-work. "Wurm" is wobbly Gnarls techno for the peak-time at any appropriate ballroom venue. Imposing, explosive bass/swing/house from the depths. "Wusch" features an irresistible melody that is gallivanting and hypnotic. Again, literally a cord of wood stands before the Krause cabin.

Artist: DAS KRAUSE DUO
Title: Beans In Sandals Part 2
Label: MUSIK KRAUSE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.00
Catalog #: MKR 030EP
With a passionate lust for movement and a healthy dose of nerdy obsession, Das Krause Duo further develop their hyperkinetic house merged with techno. "Brauserie" is an exquisitely fine brush-stroke with subliminal rhythms and a bass punch -- a warm, multi-dimensional trip. "Herr Kules" is a Detroit-ish basement thumper -- precise and rough at the same time, with the door to the cellar slightly ajar. Seldom has humor, vehemence, hallucination and deepness been heard in such unison.

Artist: WRUHME, ROBAG
Title: Dreiklangkrapriolen
Label: MUSIK KRAUSE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.00
Catalog #: MKR 031EP
Robag Wruhme returns toting three nuggets which are somewhere between gentle hardcore with a weakness for horns, and a warm coolness. Dark, complex and almost avant garde. For all intents and purposes, a Lindenberg with Kafka-esque posing on a steamer, turned in the direction of the Ziller Valley. All three have a frugal consumption of a mere 4 liters per 100km, and there is still a healthy acceleration here that is lively and quick.

Artist: SIMMONDS, IAN
Title: The Burgenland Reworked EP
Label: MUSIK KRAUSE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.00
Catalog #: MKR 032EP
Musik Krause presents a 12" package of reworked tracks off of Ian Simmonds' The Burgenland Dubs (MKR 003CD/LP) album. "Lutherstreet Blues" is a superb late-night mover with horns from Martin Rudolf. Krause Duo's rework of "Kon 1" is bowed from the original and resides in its own cosmos. Dave Aju tightens the broken drum storm of "The Esel" into a straight beat corset, and Even Tuell dares to try the complex and percussive "Speak," which is taken apart and dissected.

Artist: FEINDREHSTAR
Title: Knochenbrechers Ball
Label: MUSIK KRAUSE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.00
Catalog #: MKR 033EP
Feindrehstar is comprised of seven gentlemen from Jena, Germany and their music is situated somewhere between the stage and the club. To convert their work into a portable medium so that DJs and patrons are happy, the band went to Axel Reineimer and Immo Wischhusen (Flowin Immo) in the Jazzanova Studio in Berlin. Produced by Michael Baumann (Soulphiction/Jackmate), the group presents a full, super-sound 12" that is a teaser to their first album.

Artist: KRAUSE DUO (FEAT. IAN SIMMONDS)
Title: Hell On Earth EP
Label: MUSIK KRAUSE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.00
Catalog #: MKR 034EP
Krause Duo's production is constructed as a free-spirited bunch with a special twist. It doesn't matter whether the material is with a jazz catalog, a frizzy sound, a dragging house or a techno press. Ian Simmonds is comfortably on hand for both sides of the vinyl disc in the studio. Out comes two monumentally deep waltzes full of raunchy charm and a knee-deep appreciation for jazz. Spiritual dance music that will give you a ghostly slam.

Artist: BERK OFFSET
Title: Die Doris Macht Das Gift
Label: MUSIK KRAUSE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.00
Catalog #: MKR 035EP
Berk Offset presents funky Dada techno for culture-drunks and solar plexus beatniks. The flowing lyricist Rainer Maria Silke is known as a techno-activist. For Musikkrause, Berk Offset mimes Doris with filthy, straight-lined techno avant-garde for a life in dancefloor heaven. He is the charming psychiatrist with the melting grin and the right medicine, who muses from time to time over the effectiveness of shock therapy.

Artist: SIMMONDS, IAN
Title: The Tokio Drifter EP
Label: MUSIK KRAUSE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.00
Catalog #: MKR 036EP
Ian Simmonds presents two sonic rockets at the ready to be blasted off into the auditory world. His penchant for percussive rhythm in connection with a powerfully meditative character is one of a kind. In spite of a multiplicity of tones, melody fragments and densely-packed rhythmic finery, the tracks manage an unbelievably well-organized deepness. For the new Musik Krause, he brings forth cinematic adrenalin and sensuality for free-spirited dancers.

Artist: EVEN TUELL
Title: Hula Vortex EP
Label: MUSIK KRAUSE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.00
Catalog #: MKR 037EP
Paul-David Rollmann aka Even Tuell is one of the co-founders of the Workshop label and belongs to the class of those who answer the call for effective art, design and indulgence. With this EP, he highlights a raw and coarse club music sound without losing even a breath of aesthetic. All three pieces sound as if they were crafted from centuries' old tools, in the way that his music is filtered through the machines -- humanized and charged with a kind of essential honesty.

Artist: FEINDREHSTAR
Title: Triller EP
Label: MUSIK KRAUSE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.00

The great strength of Feindrehstar lies in their engaging and dynamic live-show on the stage. If you see them once, you must see them again. Their latest on Musikkrause is supported by producers such as Axel Reinemer (Jazzanova), Michel Baumann (Soulphiction) & Wendelin Weiflbach (Metaboman, Krause Duo). The Triller EP brings an overdose of life into the room with an acoustic eruption of club music euphoria that manages a happy medium of exhaustion for all involved.
