Pattern Repeat is a new music project and label by Kenneth Christiansen, Echocord & Echocord Colour label boss, and his partner Dennis Bøg aka Resoe, running the Baum label. The Pattern Repeat label will only contain productions from Kenneth & Dennis, and the music is focused on the "modern" Berlin techno sound of today -- dubstep and dub-techno. Pattern Repeat will also release records on other labels -- the first one is out on Echocord Colour. On white vinyl.

This third release on Pattern Repeat is a powerful techno chord EP with dubby elements, perfect for the dancefloor. Kenneth Christiansen and Dennis Bøg met eachother when they worked together at a famous Copenhagen record shop. At that time, Dennis was more into broken beat, hip-hop and deep house. Kenneth was already running the label Echocord, and soon Dennis started his label Baum. The duo decided to do a new project together, and Pattern Repeat was born. On white vinyl.

Pattern Repeat is back with another two tracks on their own label. Both Kenneth & Resoe present some raw, dirty, dub-infected grooves, starting off right away with the dub elements intact. After a short break, a hypnotic atmosphere kicks off in best Pattern Repeat style. The B-side starts slowly with an almost Alfred Hitchcock kind of atmosphere, with a dull kick underneath. The track keeps getting more dirty with more distortion added to the dub stabs. On white vinyl.
