Switzerland's Ripperton and Sam K present the first Perspectiv compilation called Family Tree, with 11 unmixed, unreleased, DJ-friendly tracks from the label's favorite artists hailing from Lausanne, Geneva, Amsterdam and Hamburg. Minz strike back with a brand new song called "The Man With The Kite" and a high dancefloor burner remix of his "Chinese Drip" by the owner of Plak Records, Chaton. Mark August presents "Bende," a track with a unique, deep and emotional touch. "Introduced by James Holden, Lucy (Curle rec) is a new Italian talent based in Paris. On the A-side, the amazing 'Glass Computer' (co-produced with friends) is an odyssey into electronic music and a catchy beat. Seven minutes of happiness and emotion for the crowd. This is October's first release for Perspectiv. With three singles on his own label Caravan, October's organic techno cuts and thuds add physicality to his productions. "Say Again" features a female vocal loop, throbbing with pulsed melodic tone, punching live percussion and a deep bass line. "Go Outside" is a darker, deeper and more ethereal work -- stuttering beats are glued together by a warm synth melody. Resonant percussion and phased keys submerge the track into a claustrophobic climax.
