Artist: TURZI
Title: Seven Inch Allah
Label: RECORD MAKERS (UK)
Format: 7"
Price: $8.00
Catalog #: REC 039EP
"Turzi is a 5-piece band from Paris, France. They formed 4 years ago on composer Romain Turzi's impulse and played a blend of Kraut rock and Italian movie score atmospheres (Morricone) with a touch of classic U.S. garage. Music is trippy and repetitive with wild Morricone-type synth and guitar melodies. Bass is Lemmyfied (Hawkwind-era) and drums hit hard and tight. Their debut album A is released soon. This single features samples from the album A and an exclusive demo version of the song 'Afghanistan.'"

Title: A
Label: RECORD MAKERS (UK)
Format: 2LP
Price: $25.00
Catalog #: REC 040LP
"After the release of the '7inch Allah,' here's finally Turzi's first full LP... kinda concept LP where each track refers to a concept close to Turzi's own personality, perception or experience. With obvious hints towards Steve Reich, J. Carpenter, or even Kraftwerk's legacy, this LP sums up in the best of ways what should be proper cinematic-electro. An album as such, as opposed to just a compilation of tracks."

Artist: TELLIER, SEBASTIEN
Title: Sexual Sportswear
Label: RECORD MAKERS (UK)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.00
Catalog #: REC 044EP
"New 12'' from the man behind 'La Ritournelle.' Taken from the album Sexuality, it is produced by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo of Daft Punk fame, as is the rest of the album. It also features a smashing Sebastian remix, of Ed Banger fame. 'Sexual Sportswear' is Tellier's musical statement for love-making: simple, emotional, hypnotic."

Artist: TELLIER, SEBASTIEN
Title: Divine
Label: RECORD MAKERS (UK)
Format: 7"
Price: $9.00
Catalog #: REC 047EP
"New extract from the highly-acclaimed Sebastien Tellier full-length. This 7" version comes with the original track alongside a Kasper Winding remix."

Artist: KAVINSKY
Title: Nightcall
Label: RECORD MAKERS (UK)
Format: 12"
Price: $14.00
Catalog #: REC 065EP
Taken from the Drive original motion picture soundtrack. Since the film's release, the YouTube video for "Nightcall" has climbed to over 11 million views, and has been on repeat across an expanse of playlists, always fueling the after-after party with the slow burn of glossed synth echoes. Now Kavinksy emerges from this late-night haze with the helping of friends, bearing a collection of covers, remixes, and second takes for yet another drive through the midnight hours. Remixes from Dustin N'Guyen and Jackson.

Artist: TELLIER, SEBASTIEN
Title: My God Is Blue
Label: RECORD MAKERS (UK)
Format: LP
Price: $27.50
Catalog #: REC 083LP
Record Makers presents French electronic artist Sébastien Tellier's album My God Is Blue, the follow-up to 2008's Sexuality. Pressed on blue-colored vinyl, housed in a gatefold sleeve with a black inner sleeve plus inlay. Tellier only has this to say about his new record: "Don't listen to my record, listen to my message, vibrate to my music, let's merge our dreams, together spreading our combined energy in an immense blue wave that will flood the world -- and the truth will emerge." Produced by Ed Banger artist Mr. Flash, with guest production by Pavle Kovacevic.

Title: Cochon Ville
Label: RECORD MAKERS (UK)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.50
Catalog #: REC 085EP
Sébastien Tellier's album My God Is Blue has won some notable proselytes, each bringing their personalities to their remixes of the hypnotic disco bliss that is the single "Cochon Ville." The Magician, formerly of Aeroplane, offers a disco-meets-new-wave space-jam, complete with Depeche Mode-esque bass licks and CZ-101-esque synth coos. Brodinski's cut transports us to day three at an Ibiza festival, tropical drums ringing behind walls of saturated bass and rave-ready know-how. Dimitri From Paris pushes the funk factor, pressing all things disco to their limit.

Artist: TURZI
Title: B
Label: RECORD MAKERS (UK)
Format: CD
Price: $15.50
Catalog #: REC 055CD
The follow-up to 2007's A, Paris-based Turzi presents B, featuring Bobby Gillespie (Primal Scream) and Brigitte Fontaine. Mixed in London by Max Heyes (Doves, Radio 4, The Rakes, Patrick Wolf) with a little help from Brendan Lynch (Primal Scream). "It could be a soundtrack to a journey in Blade Runner or a party scene in Beyond The Valley Of The Dolls, and it fades out at the end just like a strange dream. This is definitely taking drugs to make music to take drugs to." --Pitchfork; Thunderous, contrapuntal, prog-rock/synth/electronic bombast for the alphabetically-inclined world traveler.

Artist: ACID WASHED
Title: Acid Washed
Label: RECORD MAKERS (UK)
Format: CD
Price: $15.50
Catalog #: REC 059CD
Paris' Acid Washed is a two-man process primarily, involving deteriorating sound amongst souvenirs, friends, home studios and analog equipment. It follows the blueprint devised by two DJs keen on using modern and vintage equipment to create sophisticated electronics with a sharp pop aesthetic. The result is a fusion of late '90s French house vibes and DFA disco touches that acknowledge the influence of Chicago and Detroit without being overly reverential. Throw names like Steve Reich, Giorgio Moroder and Kraftwerk into the hat as well if you like, but don't dwell on them. The list of big-time collaborators queuing outside the hit-factory is getting larger by the day and shows no sign of dying down anytime soon. The romantic and cinematic vision of Acid Washed slots in perfectly alongside the widescreen-zombie-electro of Kavinsky and the sophisticated bedroom grooves by Sébastien Tellier. A glittering fusion of Paris dance sophistication, and Detroit's dirt-flecked sound.
