Title: Railroadism: Live In The USA 72-81
Label: VIPER (UK)
Format: CD
Price: $18.00
Catalog #: VIPER 015CD
A collection of various live recordings in the US over the years '72-81 (from Boston, NYC, TX, LA, etc.). "This album shows what a magnificent, powerful and remarkable voice the Captain had and what a truly formidable force the'magic' band were. This is another historic document and features such rarities as the captain performing 'The Blimp' from Trout Mask Replica which leads him into playing a sax solo equal to the free jazz experimentation of Ornette Coleman or John Coltrane, 'Harry Irene' with the best whistling outro ever and the lost gem, 'Railroadism'- a distant cousin of the lost track 'Hoboism' + many more. This will not only be of importance to Beefheart freaks but to the world as a whole. Also features previously unpublished photos and in-depth liner notes."

Label: VIPER (UK)
Format: CD
Price: $16.00
Catalog #: VIPER 023CD
"Another 'storming collection of scouse nuggets' from the seventies to the present day. Vol 3 begins with Liverpool's first punk band The Spitfire Boys with a song called 'British Refugee' from 1977 featuring future Frankie Goes to Hollywood member Paul Rutherford on vocals and ends with The Hokum Clones, one of Liverpool's finest new bands around, covering a song that started it all in the mid 1950s, Leadbelly's 'Rock Island Line.' This album also features a lost song by Shack called 'Up' thought to be destroyed in a fire in 1991, The ID, an early incarnation of OMD with the original version of 'Electricity,' and 'Hey Disco Joe' by Wah! Heat 'live' at the last night of Erics and many more gems."

Title: Breakloose 1984-1986
Label: VIPER (UK)
Format: CD
Price: $17.00
Catalog #: VIPER 052CD
"Now remastered and with 7 previously unreleased bonus tracks. The mythology that has grown around The La's has made them one of the most enigmatic bands of the last few decades. The story began in a bleak mid-'80s Liverpool, with a chance meeting between two unemployed musicians, Lee Mavers and Mike Badger. Over the next two years they co-wrote material which appears here on Breakloose 1984-1986. Influenced by the likes of Howlin' Wolf, Captain Beefheart and described as 'surreal rock 'n' roll', the results are raw & spirited with classic song writing to the fore, defining a unique and creative time in the band's history and pointing the way to future success." Includes 20-page booklet.
