Continuing their visits to the vaults of the legendary Fashion Records, NICE UP come correct with another remix of a classic track from the catalog. Much-loved mash-up king and remixer internationale Jstar steps up to give his take on the classic "Mek Them Rock" by Bunny General. Firing up a heavy digital dancehall rhythm, the vocals are twisted and wrangled through the fx unit to deliver a truly modern take on this soundboy anthem, which is sure to NICE UP any dance. Comes with an instrumental version on the flip.

AD 003EP

A track that will forever go down in Chicago house history -- "Fear Tha World" by unsung Chicago hero Houz Mon is credited as being the first-ever ghetto house track. Originally released in 1993 on Beat Boys, and despite an awful pressing quality, the original release has been selling on Discogs between £50 and £90 due to its painfully limited pressing. Ripped from the original DAT, Another Day presents "Fear" for the first time on vinyl in 21 years -- and the first time ever on beautiful virgin vinyl.

LAD 003EP

Life And Death have recruited the undisputed kings of late night mayhem and madness for a tribute to that beautiful party after the party. dOP has infiltrated after-parties worldwide, secretly extracting pituitary secretions from the rowdiest party-goers at each of them. They then took these secretions, burned them in a special voodoo ceremony and immediately went into the studio to create a fitting tribute to the after-hours festivities we all hold so dear. Remixed by Clockwork and Le Loup.

3000GRAD 003EP

"A really good meal should contain some variety, not only because tastes are different but also because this ingredient introduces the certain excitement. Two dudes who really know how to mash up an electronic menu are Dreher & Smart, who serve us two delicious filet pieces of contemporary dance music on this fresh 3000 vinyl as a preview for their upcoming live album Wandertag. The A side track 'Brust oder Keule' refers to the original idea of minimal, and therefore comes in a very slender and sporty way: With only few sounds it establishes a remarkable amount of pressure and drive. On the flipside, Funkwerkstatt's interpretation of the original remains the reduced style but turns to a laid back but still inspiring mood, using some funny clicker sound and decently placed vocals. 'Beside that Man' delivers another variety: A truly massive bass line forms the foundation for a lush arrangement of nested percussions, trippy sound effects and fluffy melodies- irresistible for party people's inherent urge to dance!"

OFFROAD 003EP
|
"After an aural assault from DZ on OFF001, and Twisted's low-slung grimey offering on OFF002, Toronto's Christian Andersen aka XI has delivered something special for number three. First up is 'Smoke Signal,' and right from the off, you know it's a no-nonsense affair with militant marching drums and livid swells of buzzing static. This tune's all about the drop though, and what a drop it is! The unadulterated bass-bin mayhem is unleashed with little more than a muttered warning, with pounding 808 subs worrying your speakers while the paranoiac FX set your nerves jangling. On the flip, 'Strategy' takes a cue from rising dubstep star Martyn, mixing tight post-UKG beats with thick textured pads and deep, bluesy sax licks. As the tune progresses, XI drops in a non-stop bouncer of a bass line, resonant squarewaves bulging out beneath the urgent offbeat stabs and layered atmospherics. Supporting DJs include: Joe Nice (Dubwar USA), RSD (Tectonic), Komonazmuk (H.E.N.C.H.), Ramadanman (Hessle Audio), Headhunter (Tempa), Rossi B (A.R. M.Y./BBC 1Xtra), Markle (2nd Drop), Tayo (Cool & Deadly) and many more."

PARAD 003EP

"Anthony Collins, a French artist who although being only twenty-three years old, gathers an amazing background in labels such as Players Paradise, Criminal Rec. or Infant. Now he settles down in Paradigma with this 'Pop-off E.P.,' which means another style turnaround for Paradigma Musik, the third one, that shows again their wish not to be stuck in any specific sound. The track that names the maxi bets on digital house, full of melody and with minimal cadenza, showing that repetitive rhythms don't have to be cold at all. This fact is confirmed by Ludovic Vendi's remix, another French fellow who we all know from his superb maxis with Dialect, Gourmet or Was Kids. Vendi contributes with more strength and hypnotism to the melody, giving more dance floor consistency. The next two tracks completing this release are: 'Chocopistache,' launched as a more introspective, melodic and evocative track. Perfect to end sessions or to start a long set full of vanguard sounds. 'Face It,' dancefloor-focused and intimate, we believe it is going to be ideal for DJ's who go one step beyond when choosing their vinyls, always with a fair ratio between quality and quantity. Just like Paradigma. Anthony Collins is Paradigma's future gamble. Marc Marzenit and Paul Ritch were the first ones, the list keeps growing up, so does Paradigma."
