Another edition of Full Pupp's jaw-breaking, tongue-twisting mouthful in their original Nordic language series. "Gnagsar i hjernen," "Fjerde av den forste bolgen," not sure what that means... but it does sound good! Oslo's highly talented Oyvind Morken's weekly Wednesday night residency "Untzdag" at Jaeger has become an institution in Oslo, drawing in a crowd of open-minded party freaks. In the last 10 years, he has been caught DJing throughout Scandinavia and the Balkans, from the north to the south of Europe and around the UK, getting support from various different heads across the scene, such as techno godfather Juan Atkins and notorious crate-digger Lovefingers.

This is a taste of Marcel Knopf's first full-length on Mo's Ferry, and it fully illustrates the DJ's amazing versatility. These tracks move between smart techno and house, pointing out that Knopf doesn't want to be bound to one musical direction. "Dusty Dance" is a floor-filler with an enthralling groove, a monster break and a hook, where any bias against trumpets in the club is blown away. "Rec-Chord" is an old-school, frickling house track that absolutely sizzles on vinyl.
