"Finland's 501 made his name writing smashers for labels such as Chase & Status' imprint More Than Alot, but this plate on Black Acre's dancefloor subsidiary will confound all expectation. 'Short Circuit' marries synthetic pop production with dancefloor sensibilities and adds a dash of pure cheek for good measure.
