It is the 1st solo long player since New Beginnings in 1997 The Advent's Cisco Ferreira about Time Trap Technik : 'At the beginning of my involvement in the recording industry I was always into freestyle and electro. So after learning about programming in the late 80's on some weird retro equipment, some of my 1st works were in this style, like ... 'Space Opera' (R&S), 'The Project' (R&S), 'B.C.' (I.T.P.) At this time I was also into new wave because of that retro sound. Groups like Neon Judgment, Cabaret Voltaire or Front 242. The vibe they created with their music was ahead of it's time. They were so in tune with the machines and developed their own sound... so this had a big influence on my musical style from the start. So now 2001 is the time to release this album Time Trap Technik.'"
