1998 debut by the new trio grouping of Keiji Haino, (guitar, vocal) Ikuroh Takahashi (drums)& Masami Kowaguchi (bass, ex-Broombusters). A new venture into the universe of recorded Haino sound, this group are apparetnly covering Japanese folk classics. The material is all from the 60s/70s (with one track dating back "much further"), but we don't have solid information about the identification of the original artists that are covered -- our research on this will have to continue. But this album does feature very unusual angularization of the Haino attack, venturing from Affection like strummed ambiance to almost-DNA-like territories of atonal rock aggression. Features 9 tracks recorded in the same time frame (2-4/98) as the above 2 Fushitsusha albums. Widely arrayed, intensely performed.
