"Arkham is a legendary band in the annals of European progressive rock. Arkham was co-founded by two musicians who subsequently became two of the best-known known names in progressive rock: Jean-Luc Manderlier and Daniel Denis. Manderlier, Arkham's keyboardist and sole composer, would later become a member of the French band, Magma, recording on that band's landmark work, Mekanīk Destructīw Kommandöh. During its brief yet highly active and visible two years of existence, Arkham played countless live concerts but never released a recording. Compiled from tapes made at various Arkham performances and rehearsals in Belgium between 1970-72, this self-titled CD documents the band's music throughout its existence. Arkham is an essential document of a band which holds a key place in the history of European progressive rock."
