"For me, simply cool and pumping dancefloor music is boring, after a certain time. It's more about rogue and some dirt in the gear, that makes minimal techmusic to a heat around the dancefloor. Along the edge, colliding into dancers, sloping a drink, treading on visitor's feet, losing the beat for a second and leaving the pattern. Somewhere it starts... develops and ravels. Is getting entangled and tumbles... sometimes to the left, then to the right, gets loud and calms down again... So much about dramaturgy in my tracks. Dramaturgy is somewhat very delightful. Minimal techno is a marvelous headstone for sounds, to send patterns on a journey. I love to make dance music with a slightly different approach. Music I rarely hear like that. Sure, it's nothing new to play with patterns, but to me it's a main motivation -- play with habits and expectations of patterns."
