"Battles are Tyondai Braxton, who previously collaborated with Prefuse 73 on vocals, keyboardist, guitar and electronics, John Stanier on drums, ex Helmet and member of Mike Patton's Tomahawk, Ian Williams on guitar and keyboard, ex Don Caballero and Dave Konopka on guitar and bass, previously in Lynx. Battles describe their music as 'somewhere between electronic and rock... we don't have to play garage music the way you might if all the members had only been in garage bands.
