Quebec's underground guru, member of Les Biberons Bâtis who put out two cult albums, Satan Bélanger is the king of 'collector' records. The 15 tracks you'll find here have been picked during the last decade (and more) in Kebek's best garage sales and flea markets. There's Quebecois kazoo, French psych, Belgian acid-fries. There's fuzz, screams and heavy cosmic trips. There's beautiful weirdos and very bizarre stuff. All these songs were recorded between 1968 and 1973. Too 'original' for that era, they were soon forgotten. 'Ani-kuni', a psych-pop version of a traditional native mantra, would be the only exception being the summer hit of 1973 in Quebec. You'll find it twice here with a version taken from the vinyl single and one from the original masters.
