Bicep are a duo from Belfast, brought together through a common obsession with all things analog. After several years and countless DJ gigs, Bicep realized they needed to make their own brand, succumbing to, as Bicep describe it, "house infused '80s analog inspiration." This 12" is old school in feel and still utterly current. They even recruited dancefloor dynamo Serge Santiago to turn in an edit with his partner in Retro/Grade, Tom Neville, rounding this out into a three-track partystarter.

Bicep's second release for Throne Of Blood. With a deeper take on the analog house sound that has become their signature, EP2 represents a step forward for Bicep and provides a brief peek into still more of the classic house music that informs their signature sound. While "Silk" rides a warm bassline reminiscent of classics like Baby Ford's "Ford Trax," it never goes for the jugular. Buchla synth expert Mark Verbos provides a remix on the flip.
