Broker/Dealer's second release for Spectral sells itself softly -- at first. The title track's reverberated hisses and whispers oscillate in and out of the depths, echoing the metallic vibrato of copper under water. Then, the handclaps drop in, the subtle bass takes hold, and "Soft Sell" unfolds into a sophisticated scene-stealer. Thomas Fehlmann's re-rub sands down the track's edges, revealing an insistent stomper beneath undulating synth waves. "Save It For Later" focuses a prismatic lens on some deep minimal funk.
