"Well, it took a while, but now we're happy to release the second Butane on RRYGULAR. His new record Green Water reflects a transition from his former home back in St. Louis to the metropolitan life in the old world. Deep and mesmerizing like the Butane tracks we already know, but also energetic and sprouting like a plant repotted in a new soil. The first track 'Mute Solo' is one of our long time favorites. Marcel Knopf already included this one on his Bits To Phono Mix CD. Now, it's available in full-length and on vinyl, too. 'Your Chart Is Whack' and 'Vaguely Defined' are both perfect DJ tools with a tightly pushing bass, a light up-and-down arrangement and enough space for experimenting and mixing.
