"After more or less 3 years with gear replacement, going from hardware to software, the Consumer comes up with the debut EP. All made with the analogue technology and soul in mind. A strong record with 6 tracks of pure, raw and dry elements and a touch of oldschool electro -- including dark and pitched lyrics. The record was created as a product of a strong period going from Spring to Autumn, with love, a lot of electro; Egyptian Lover to Dopplereffekt and a lot of work in studio, study and experience. Inspired by the raw and unique sound of Le Car -- moving on to a more open and warm 'world' of Drexciya with a twist of the darkness from den Haag. The listener might, of course, find a lot of other parallels."

"The Consumer seems to bring up some 'advisory' with a wide range of styles going from the simple and raw old school side of electro to the more fine and digital sound combined with a lot of mad and dark lyrics that brings each track a little higher. Six very different tracks that for sure makes it a record to own. Freaky stuff with a lot of surrealism and 3rd dimension and still you find some tracks with a simple structure -- keeping it all down to earth. The Consumer-sound can be described as a unique atmospheric, but yet very dry and sharp sound that includes a lot of small crazy elements. Inspired by the raw sound of Detroit -- moving on to a more open and warm 'world' with influences from James Stinson and Gerald Donald (Drexciya). The melodies are all very emotional and create the ideal sound behind Kondi."

"Amazing, cold and mysterious science-sounds is probably the first words to come, when listening to this new piece of art from the dark caves of Scandinavia. The Consumer has returned with the 3rd EP which is again slightly different from past productions. Drawing parallels to both the world of Dopplereffekt and Arpanet it still manages to be very different and The Consumer has quite well establish his/her/their own sound based on different emotional feelings, techniques and creativity according to the use of analog and digital expressions.
