Title: Giornata EP
Label: FRIENDS OF TOMORROW (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $10.00
Catalog #: FOT 004EP
Produced by Niklas Worgt, half of Dapayk & Padberg. W/ a remix by Bine. "Everybody loves the Sunshine. That's what Roy Ayers said deep in the '70s. Thirty years later a guy called Dapayk somewhere in Berlin takes a rest -- thinking about what's up around, what's the next thing to do, to fulfill, at last to reflect. In some past time everything was in place but nowadays it's work and trade. Everybody takes a rest sometimes for it's nicest to take it slow and some things are best to be confronted with their own structure. There's some evil tone in all that ever so smooth that we even love it -- taking it straight up to fine-arts excitement. It's all about to stay in best shape then. We all got plans and then it's just about to keep your line -- right on to daytime when technique's turned down but cutie's still same demanding. And poses you usually love so much do the strike even more -- and not just to you now. Bine herself is kicking those nasty things to another functional dimension far away from the blues just by sound and pressure -- just to show how it can be done."

Title: Marek & Das Polenpony
Label: KARLOFF (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $10.00
Catalog #: KARLOFF 013EP
"A virtuoso of beat-defined noise-gothic makes his attendance: Dapayk Solo, a busy pathfinder on the sideways of newer dance music, now on Karloff rekordings, causing a hectic replacement of the speakers in the listening lounge, as it seems that Mr. Bad contact is coproducing again. But we'll leave the raising of the eyebrows to the others, especially when these egregious sounds are jumping so straight to your face, like ugly alien puppies elsewhere. As known from his exceptional & up-rising label Mo's Ferry, Dapayk is preaching a spooky, scratched-up failure-funk with ominous vocals, never forgetting about the basics of going nuts, in his role as the king midas of glitch-rave. His rattling drum patterns truly seem to run on diesel, yet they easily achieve the evil efficiency of a streamlined Ferrari, but without that silly warpaint. Which is simply not required when you descend this deep to bring such wonderful tracks to the light of day."

Title: Effessefedepp
Label: KARLOFF (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $10.00
Catalog #: KARLOFF 018EP
"After his devilish ride on the 'Polenpony,' Dapayk Solo returns to the underwoods, wading deeply in the beats and calibrating his ears close to the limits of perception. He still knows how to induce strategic black-outs, but this time the fog breaks up to clear the way for more bouncing stuff on the plate. Grainy emery funk fuses with primary dancefloor stimulation to present some of the straightest floorkillers ever made by this guy. While the blood-freezing breaks keep stumbling through the weirdest sounds, especially 'Salieri' sets up for this evil wave leading back to bleepy business. Captured in this deep impression one wonders what just happened, but it's been dazzingly beautiful to take a header. It's still always impressive to see that what one can only dream of, just takes the twinkle of an eye for others."

Title: Impulsion Parasite RMXs Part 1
Label: MO'S FERRY (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $10.00
Catalog #: MFP 028EP
"Since fall 2006, Dapayk has raised a lot of dust with his first solo album, Impulsion Parasite and the ongoing tour. Now, Mo's Ferry Prod. presents the RMXs Part 1 with adaptations by Louderbach, Butane, Tanith and 3dots. The tracks are as diverse as the remixers themselves and show in what plurality and variety Dapayk's music is recognized and interpreted."

Title: Impulsion Parasite RMX Part 2
Label: MO'S FERRY (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $10.00
Catalog #: MFP 029EP
"Mo's Ferry release #29 is part 2 of the remix series for Dapayk Solo's Impulsion Parasite album. The record begins with the winner of the 'Hollis' remix contest -- C.Drummond aka The Wolves Outside. The Canadian stood up to countless others and provides weird grooves and cut-up funk, that shows creativity at its best. Rrygular and Apnea act From Karaoke to Stardom impresses his distinctive seal on the unofficial Dapayk hymn 'Marek Stolpert.' He leaves the deepness of the original, but puts his remix on a level of more minimal detailedness without losing sight of the crowded dancefloor. Mobilee's Pan-Pot, also referred as 'The (Cooking) Pots' or 'The Three Funny Two,' bury the snippets of original track 'Hagen' in an abyssal bass arrangement and conjure a floorburner with maximum functionality. To complete the record there's Mathias Kaden's version of 'Warteballmusik.' With the help of his live-recorded bongo percussions, he adds a flair of an after-hour classic to the funky original."

Title: Devil's House
Label: MO'S FERRY (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.00
Catalog #: MFP 037EP
This two-track 12" by Dapayk Solo announces the release of his second album Devil's House. "Devil's House" elicits a proper bass response -- pure frickelsound that pays attention to details. "A Saw Attacks" is sporty staccato minimal, while a full-stereo sawtooth sound and a demonic vocal sample take the lead, pushed by a strong punchy kick drum and accompanied by a sound design of clicks and sweeps.

Title: Devil's House
Label: MO'S FERRY (GERMANY)
Format: CD
Price: $17.00
Catalog #: MFP 039CD
This is the second full-length release from Dapayk Solo on Mo's Ferry. Unlike its forerunner Impulsion Parasite (2006), the beats are less abstract, but topical and more breakbeat-like: you can't miss the straightness of these voluminous sounds. "Intro" features the cinematic shattering of a saw -- full of dark power. These powers continue on "Scratch The Surface," which should get the dancefloor pulsing, and "A Saw Attacks" is another sawtooth massacre mixed with breakbeats and minimalism. Dubstep and two samples also interweave on this track, so you don't have a single clue where electro starts and techno ends. New to Dapayk Solo productions are the tiny skits and small audio clips that separate and connect tracks, such as within "Better Stop Breathing," which leads over to "Vermo's House" and combines Dapayk's stumbling beats with a nasty sawing sound. "Road to Boesendorf" is a relaxing piano etude, before "Right Here With Me" starts. On "Berlin Amo," two-step beats and electro marry without trouble and gives hints as to where Berlin's musical journey might be going."Child Of The Night" is dark minimal and "How Low" evokes the depths of the bass matched with incisive, questioning vocals. The beatless snippet "Strings Attached" leads to the melancholic "Niro," which connects dubstep a la Burial and minimalism. "Skit" -- a clip with an acoustic guitar -- leads over to "A Wave That Leads You Home." This album is an emotional dancefloor joyride -- a detailed and exciting rollercoaster that is packed with Dapayk's trademark sounds and new influences you'll want to experience over and over again.

Title: Acid Pornofski
Label: MO'S FERRY (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.00
Catalog #: MFP 040EP
Dapayk Solo demonstrates more sawtooth/acid action with Acid Pornofski. Like back in the best days of rave, you hear the endless modulations of monstrous acid bass lines, and anybody who has experienced one of Dapayk's live sets knows how sweaty things get. This is the absolute highest peak.

Title: Bis An Die Szene Bewaffnet!!!
Label: ORAC (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $10.00
Catalog #: ORAC 026EP
Dapayk makes devastating techno for labels including Orac, Trapez, Karloff, and his own Mo's Ferry. The title track of this EP is an 11-minute long epic of dubbed-out crackles and rumbles that give way to a martial beat, liquid synths and organic percussion. "Saaa" continues the dark cabaret vibe and aims its weaponry straight at more adventurous dancefloors. "Way" features a sleepy, swirling collage and the echoing voice of a lonely old cowboy. Evocative, danceable stuff.

Title: Fat Kid's Choice
Label: RESOPAL SCHALLWARE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $10.00
Catalog #: RSP 032EP
"Niklas Worgt who gained big reputation with his project Dapayk & Padberg and already appeared on labels like Karloff as well as running his very own Mo's Ferry Records indeed heralds the winter season with his latest creation. The Fat Kid's Choice 12" could be an overture to a delightful winter night party. Exciting, laced with dry, dirty electronic bass-driven tech grooves mixed with bubblegum sleazy vocals while always groovy in the lower frequencies, Dapayk will surely take over the dancefloors."
