"Long-awaited debut from top Northern dubstep DJ Distinction! Hailing from the increasingly fertile dubstep hotbed of Leeds comes 3 tearing tracks from the North's top DJ, Distinction. Opening the EP is 'After Life' which sets the tone with unsettling choral chants, film score strings and bleeping electro synths. A spooky dropout and swirling sound effects make the warped bassline kick deep and the snare crack will split your lip. Flip over for 'Bug Chaser' with filtered slimy synths and intensive drum break action. This builds to a crescendo of sirens and jump up sub bass that will destroy any dancehall. The final track sees Distinction team up with Omen from Random Trio for 'Overdose.' The levels are raised with distorted breaks and square wave grime synths giving this hard edged collabo a distinctly dark side. Stuttering electro basslines follow, evolving throughout the track building to a Babylon dirty sub bass."
