The first volume in Tempa's Dubstep Allstars series, mixed by DJ Hatcha; featuring tracks from Kode9, Benga, MarkOne, Skream, etc. It's been pointed out that its follow-up, Dubstep Allstars Vol. 2, is the real Flex Your Head of dubstep, but it's good to see this one available again as well. These tracks combine elements of dub, two-step, techno, drum & bass, breaks and more. DJ Hatcha is the scene's leading DJ, with a residency at groundbreaking night Forward>>, and shows on Rinse FM, Flight FM, BBC 1 Xtra and Groovetech.
