After the huge success of 2005's "Body Language" track, the Get Physical founders find the time to team up for another collaboration -- this time it's DJ T. and Booka Shade's turn. "Played Runner" obviously doesn't represent one of the contemporary formulas -- taking inspiration from the classic Detroit techno sound, the musical chords and dreamy strings sweep and soar to dramatic highs. The powerful standing bassline is also a central part, and once it kicks in, it hits the listener on a physical as well as emotional level. Changing musical direction, "Queen Lucid" sounds like it's bringing together the best in DJ T. and Booka Shade's identities. Featuring Arno and Walter's ability to make drop-dead seductive melodies and T.'s love of rumbling electronic basslines, the track also looks to dance music's past to create a moody yet rousing cut that will go down a storm on every dancefloor.
