Geometrik presents a new reissue (2009) of a classic album by influential Spanish industrial cult band Esplendor Geométrico. Veritatis Splendor (1994) is the first Esplendor Geométrico album recorded in the '90s, after their split release with Most Significant Beat. It sets the beginning of a new period for the band, where the incorporation of digital technology, synths and rhythms can be felt. Veritatis keeps the typical characteristics of E.G.'s sound but with greater production and complex rhythmic structures, achieving an original and personal fusion of classic industrial sound with elements of tribal music and avant-garde techno. It has a bigger variety of registers than in their newer repertoire, ranging from the hypnotic "La Radio Al Día," the classical sound of "Poder De Ruptura," and the bright dance rhythms of "Ensayo De Compresión," or "La Meta Del Servicio," an exciting sequence that is really surprising, including some tribal screams. Another noticeable element is the constant presence of radiophonic emissions throughout the entire album. This classic of the genre has been sold out since 1995 and is now finally available again, remastered and with different artwork.

Fans have been waiting eagerly for this reissue of Nador, another album by Esplendor Geométrico that has remained sold out for many years. The original CD was published by Daft Records in 1995 and it includes tracks recorded in the Sheikh Aljama and Arispejal Astisaró period. Nador is a collection of unreleased tracks and alternative takes recorded during one of the best creative moments of the duo (1988-1989). "Dinamo 3" and "Dinamo 2" are longer and rougher versions of "Sinaya" and "Medinati" respectively, both taken from Sheikh Aljama, while "Belew 2" is an alternative version of the track taken from Mekano-Turbo. The second album by influential Spanish industrial cult band Esplendor Geométrico, recorded in 1985, is now available again in its original format. After the first LP Héroe Del Trabajo? (1982) and a long period of little activity, E.G. reappeared in 1986 with Comisario De La Luz/Blanco De Fuerza. A record of obscure, rough and squeaky sounds in which they showed that, in spite of the elapsed time from the previous album, E.G. had their ideas clearer than never. Subsonic frequencies ("Comisario De La Luz II"), minimal rhythms ("Blanco De Fuerza II"), and even melodic lines congenially distorted ("Blanco De Fuerza III") certify a record which recovers the noise spirit from the beginnings of the band. After a start in which the line of acute distortions and buzzy basses of their previous albums continues, it follows a surprising rhythmic viscerality, reaching its peak on the track "Trybuna Robotnicza," suitable for the most frantic dance and one of the greatest moments in their vast discography. Though this is a live recording, the sound does not differ too much from their studio recordings (there's no claps or sign of human presence), and it could be considered as the stylistic bridge to their Mekano-Turbo LP. Desarrollos Geométricos (Geometric Developments) is the new album by influential Spanish cult legends Esplendor Geométrico. Recorded during 2010 and 2011, a few of the tracks on this release premiered at the band's performances in Europe. Esplendor Geométrico has developed a unique and personal style that has influenced many groups and is increasingly moving away from the clichés of Industrial Music. Arturo Lanz, who heads the group, thinks that they can no longer be labeled as "industrial." "Our music is deep, powerful, primitive and hypnotic, using electronic instruments and new technologies," he says. Desarrollos Geométricos follows in the steps of their previous album, 2009's impressive Pulsión, which was remixed on a 10" release by renowned musicians such as Frank Bretschneider and Atom TM. Repetitive and mechanic electronic rhythms are intermingled with recordings of voices, shouts, samples from traditional oriental music and percussions. Some tracks induce a kind of trance, and you won't be able to stop listening to them over and over again. The CD version includes 9 tracks, while the limited vinyl edition has 6 (3 of which are exclusive, vinyl-only tracks).
