"Germany's finest providers of true dino-funk return. This time with the second release of the former Berlin-Kreuzberg wonder boys Extraproduktionen. The house live band existed for 3 years, put out an incredible EP on Freizeitglauben -- with maximum respect coming from the likes of Morgan Geist, Ata and the whole Playhouse Gang, C-Rock, DJ Koze or Ricardo Villalobos -- and then split up just before releasing their debut LP. Subgreen is most defo one of their most soulful and warm songs and perfectly displays their ability to create super deep and slow house music with live instruments. This ain't no bullshit, folks! London geezer Toby Tobias provides a remix and an edit as Templeton Peck. He's known from his releases on Hi-Phen and most recently Rekids, and he also delivered a hilarious mix for Bear Funk.
