"A nice quick follow-up to a great first release on Wedge's new label ISP, this time by his good friend Gatekeeper. As the name suggests, 'Blip' on the A centers around an incessant beep motif, slowly treated and effected over time as the tune develops -- sliding breaks, deep punchy bass, and then those gorgeous shimmering chords evolving throughout. On the B, Gatekeeper tackles Appleblim's Skull Disco anthem 'Vansan' -- expounding the original themes of texture created by delay and reverb and incorporating them into a 140bpm technical jungle piece."
