"Live In Zürich is the second live album of the psychedelic blues rock band Ginger. After 2 years and 50 live shows back home as well as abroad, those four young people hailing from Zürich have clearly taken their position in the '60s/'70s scene. Ginger is a band mainly constipated for the stage, so it is only logical that this promising four piece -- following the tradition of the old blues rock and American jam bands -- offers its jammy and experimental live shows on record. The album Live in Zürich is an official bootleg, taped with a multitrack hard disc recorder on the occasion of a live concert in Zürich in May 2008. This record is being produced and distributed as a production in cooperation with the German label World in Sound. This 60-minute live record features warm blues, lively funk and impulsive guitar driven psychedelia. It mirrors well the stylistic spectrum of Ginger and gives a glimpse of what one can expect at one of their explosive live shows."
