"Chilly Gonzales proudly presents his third album, the Baroque meets Broadway Presidential Suite. His first album on Kitty-Yo Gonzales Uber Alles was one of the most critically acclaimed album releases of 2000 and the second one The Entertainist brought him the respect of the hip hop people. Collaborations and tours with Peaches gave them together the (in)famous name of Bonnie & Clyde of Prankster Rap for a while. When we last heard from Gonzo, he was running for the presidency of the Berlin underground... This, then, is the victory party, an acceptance speech packed with Groucho-esque raps. There are self-help anthems, sarcastic love song, and odes to the popularity contest. Of course, the melodies are sad and catchy, most notably on three instrumentals reminiscent of 'Gonzales Uber Alles'. Collaborators on Presidential Suite include (again) Peaches, on the soul-pop duet 'The Joy of Thinking', Taylor Savvy and Max Turner, and Austrian crooner Louie Austen."
