Artist: HAFLER TRIO, THE
Title: If Take, Then Take - Tricks, Half-Tricks & Real Phenomena
Label: C.i.P.
Format: LP
Price: $42.00
Catalog #: CIP 016LP
"Hafler Trio is Andrew M. McKenzie, and others as necessary. Hafler Trio has consistently released some of the most challenging and invigorating experimental audio in aesthetically exceptional packaging. This is his first full length LP in ten years and comes with a trapezoidal booklet of additional texts. In addition, each copy is signed by the artist. Unanswered questions, unasked-for responses, stimulus and response exercises conducted and presented for the benefit of a select few. Hafler Trio has always asked more of the listener than many sound artists do, with questions and ideas that provoke and, like an open invitation, await response from those who are willing to tackle, often at length, the ideas presented. The audio cleanses the aural palette and refurbishes it nicely. The ideas in the booklet are available to those who wish additional illuminations, provocations, questions, and -- when the light is right -- answers, may add greater tricks to their own personal repertoire of knowledge. Please note: in this instance, knowledge may be considered fact, fiction, or entirely up for debate." Edition of 400 copies.

Title: A Small Child Dreams Of Voiding The Plague
Label: IMPORTANT RECORDS
Format: CD
Price: $11.00
Catalog #: IMPREC 012CD
"The Hafler Trio's A Small Child Dreams Of Voiding The Plague comes housed in a deluxe screen printed 3 panel fold out and is limited to just 500 copies world wide. A Small Child Dreams Of Voiding The Plague consists of one extended audio excursion. It is an investigation into a song by a now defunkt Icelandic group named LHOOQ. The entire composition was extracted, explored and constructed by The Hafler Trio over a period of 3 years and the meticulous and cautious construction of the track is obvious as the piece slowly unwraps and evolves. Andrew Mckenzie describes A Small Child as 'the uncovering of real meanings in the apparent constructions of others'."

Title: A Thirsty Fish
Label: KORM PLASTICS (NETHERLANDS)
Format: 2CD
Price: $21.00
Catalog #: KP ATF
"And so it came to pass...and stayed there, finally. A splendidness of extra-re-release: sonically enhanced by an order of magnitude, with a full previously lost quarter of the thing put back where it belongs, and oh, how we laughed! Artwork restored, millions of minions having toiled for years. Yes, miracles performed *every day*! Come on in! The water is wonderful!" Originally released as a 2LP by Touch, then re-issued on one CD (and thus leaving off one side of the music) by Mute, now finally re-released in its original form, as a 2CD set, in the usual Hafler Trio package, with booklet, a poster and a postcard.

Title: How To Reform Mankind
Label: KORM PLASTICS (NETHERLANDS)
Format: CD
Price: $20.00
Catalog #: KP HTRM
"What's more fun than being at the most marvellous of parties? Being told about it by someone else. And here are all the juicy details about who did to whom, when and where, and who 'didn't' know about it. The dish is served, and the beads of moisture are now visible on the glass. They said it couldn't be done, and it very nearly wasn't, but we soon took the smirk off THEIR faces, now didn't we? A cornucopia of delight, especially with absent friends in mind, and indeed. you may never be the same. And someone else may not be either. With the re-issue of How To Reform Mankind we complete the trilogy that also holds Mastery Of Money and Kill The King. Originally released in 1992 by Touch, now finally seen as should be, including a 24-page booklet, poster and postcard."

Title: Mastery of Money
Label: KORM PLASTICS (NETHERLANDS)
Format: CD
Price: $20.00
Catalog #: KP MOM
"From out of the coal faces of a million desperate supplications to that which is merely appreciable comes the benevolent touch of a re-establishment of some ridiculously important principles some would have silenced -- oh! think again! -- sparkling pieces of glass houses for all, and no mistake about it. You at the back, stop fiddling. No further pennies in beakers of acid wil be tolerated. Originally released in 1992 by Touch as a CD, including a new and revised 28 page booklet, poster and postcard."

Title: Seven Hours Sleep
Label: KORM PLASTICS (NETHERLANDS)
Format: CD
Price: $20.00
Catalog #: KP SHS
"The Hafler Trio's Seven Hours Sleep is the sixth re-issue by Korm Plastics, following Kill The King, Mastery Of Money, How To Reform Mankind and A Thirsty Fish. In total there will be 14 CDs of classical old and long out of print Hafler Trio re-issues. There are packed in as a series of large folders, with booklets posters and sometimes postcards. In the word of The Hafler Trio, Seven Hours Sleep is: Sitting bolt upright again was the thing that came from the operating table not a moment too soon. Oh, the trials were all worth it, and the delights of the basement were nothing to the wings this baby had. Reverently restored to a biblical suggestion of transports that do not demand a tip, here we have the living, and still breathing apparition that can now appear in the *comfort of your own home* or *even elsewhere* for less then the price of a triple-bypass operation. Death to dreams and *HELLO* to realizing that they are the things we are made of. At all good stores worldwide and some other places. Originally released on LP by Laylah in 1985 and re-issued wrongly on CD by Mute in 1996, now really available as should have been."

Title: The Sea Org
Label: KORM PLASTICS (NETHERLANDS)
Format: CD
Price: $20.00
Catalog #: KP TSO
"The second re-issue in the Hafler Trio re-issue series will be The Sea Org. From the strangely becalmed waters of the past comes the regurgitation of The Sea Org, now extended and both sonically as well as visually enhanced beyond the wildest dreams of even the most advanced Operating Thetan. Revel in the now perfect presentation of the live removal of engrams, and feast the senses of all kinds on the banquet set before you -- unreleased material in both audible and pictorial and written form. There is no sense in ignoring this. Obtain now before the Wog World envelops you and makes all this impossible. Originally released in 1987 by Touch as a 10" record, sold out since many years and once part of 'The Golden Hammer' series, now re-issued in the most definite version. Including four extra tracks, one video (in .mov format), 28 page booklet and postcard."

Catalog #: SOL 134CD
"An Utterance of the Supreme Ventriloquist was originally issued by Soleilmoon in 1996 in a hand-numbered edition of 451 clear vinyl LPs. Utterance consists of two 21-minute pieces, 'Placing the Seed' and 'Seeding the Place.' It's a psychedelic head-trip that reaches a similar plane of consciousness occupied by Nurse With Wound.
