"At the beginning of 2006, Jamie released the Amazon EP on Dan Ghenacia's Freak n' Chic label and it was widely regarded as one of the finest debut EPs in recent years, picking up support and major respect from the likes of Damian Lazarus, Steve Bug, Slam, Tiefschwarz, M.A.N.D.Y., Phonique and Kiki to name but a few. Refusing to conform, his productions and ideas are full of character and his sound is crisp, deep and groovy. 'Panic' is fixed around a simple killer groove that enforces your feet to dance! On top of that, comes a huge swirling air raid siren that's been put through the FX unit to really elevate it into a floor-filler. It's a big track and has been causing real damage for the few lucky DJs to have already had a copy. The B-side 'Paper Trail' is a brilliant slice of deep rolling dub.
