2008 repress of this grey-area reissue of classic material by this elusive Turkish psychedelic legend; previously reissued on LP by the German Damla label. Unlike previous Koray albums (including some CDs that have come out in Turkey that are basically impossible to find), this appears to be a straight reissue of a complete album from 1974. Beautifully developed Eastern melodies via a folk-ish/psych merger and some of Koray's most extended tracks. Mesmerizing stuff.

This wide range of dates (1968-73) encompasses a pretty potent period in music, and makes for great variety; some tracks have a kind of pre-psychedelic vibe, while others have the swirling hashish heaviness of that most elusive thing, a sound that one might deem 'pure psychedelia'; in any case, every track has that unique Eastern feel that Koray brings to all his recordings. The end result is definitely on a par of greatness with Elektronik Turkuler, which makes this a must-have album for any psychedelic head!
