"These rare recordings made between 1970-1973 are now available on CD for the first time. Transferred from the original master tapes, this recording finds saxophonist and free-jazz legend Byard Lancaster playing his trademark sound in a live setting. At times the music is very wild and free, at other points, it is quiet and melancholy. Musicians include: J.R. Mitchell (percussion), Calvin Hill (bass), Paul Morrison (electric bass), Lester Lumley (conga), Sid Simmons (piano) and Joe Hunter (bass). Tracks are: '1324,' 'Last Summer,' 'War World,' 'Live At Macalester' and bonus tracks 'World In Me' and 'Thought.'"
