Le Le is a brash, mysterious Dutch ensemble who have already created quite a stir worldwide with their shockingly eclectic mishmash of addled electro-styles and humorous club vocals. The opener "Flage" introduces the band quite nicely -- a truly dramatic, synth-driven slow-jam. "Show Monaco" is an insanely catchy, full-on, disco-chopped, up-tempo filter song about turning the dancefloor into a boat-show, Riviera-style. "International Pants" is a song about pants in Dutch and English, and "Sachen" is a minimal German synth-house stomper, with lyrics rooted in '80s materialism. "Captive (De Ton Chiffre)" is a haunting French song about being obsessed with one's numbers, while "Beautiful People" urges people to lose weight. "Breakfast" has captured the hearts of the more absurd dancefloors with lyrics comparing a woman to different sorts of tasty breakfast food. "Kickstart Le Brommer" is another disco-chop, with a vocoder vocal also acting as a bass line. "Jean Pierre Le Douche" is an homage to Scritti Politti, "Human Garbage" is an electro/Italo-jam about being wasted, and "Ich Clack Dich" is a wavy/electro tune about photography -- sung, of course, in German because that's where real photography is from. "Hard" is a Dutch song about all things hard, "Drunk With Power" is an uncompromising Chicago track, "Grand Mechant Look" is the first Le Le song recorded, ever -- a crazy garage-chop with French vocals all about food, and the finale "La Bouche" is a '90s carnival track. Regardless of the style, mood or language, Le Le is set on capturing pretty much every dancefloor worldwide, and you won't be able to resist them.

Magnetron unleashes remixes of Le Le's "Disco Monster," hammered by DJ Mehdi, Busy P, Breakbot, Brodinski, Erol Alkan, etc. The Azari & III remix is a loop-based instrumental DJ tool that is definitely a grower. Marco Solo's remix has the Italo-arpeggio Hand of God, and Seymour Bits' remix is deep and dark, with a payoff after the break. Alecto's fidgety remix links to his hip-hop and reggae roots, and the original features "Thriller"-like vocals, dark-Italo bass lines and spacy chords.

On white vinyl. France's Le Le is a trio of two producers and one vocalist. Originally a part of the sold-out "Le Le X Patta X Converse" shoe and clothing package, this 12" is conquering dancefloors worldwide. "Slotmachine" is stomping Chicago house with humorous lyrics in the vein of their smash-hit "Breakfast." Hammered by big DJs from Diplo to Erol Alkan, it comes in a vocal and instrumental version. "We Are Le Le" is chopped-up disco with lyrics in English, French and German -- also in a dub version.
