"The Lemon Drops were pioneers of a psychedelic flower-power sound in and around the Chicago suburbs in 1967. The mastermind behind their music was Rembrandt Records' owner, Reggie Weiss. The first song he wrote for The Lemon Drops was inspired by the effects of a LSD trip and titled 'I Live In The Springtime.'
